No. You are welcome to walk in any weekday between 08:30 and 17:00 and we will book the job in while you are here. If you would rather organise it in advance, you can book a repair online instead.

It depends entirely on what is wrong, which is why we diagnose the fault first rather than guessing over the phone. Once we know what the machine needs, we explain it in plain English and give you a cost. Nothing goes ahead until you have said yes.

We aim to turn most repairs around within about three days, and we can often do same-day work on urgent jobs. Because everything is done in our own workshop rather than sent away, you are not waiting on a third party’s timescales.

Our workshop handles everything from the simplest hardware repair through to micro-soldering and detailed fault finding, so problems that other shops turn away are often still fixable here. If you are unsure whether we cover your device, give us a ring and ask.

Tell us at the counter if there is anything on the machine you cannot replace, and we will treat it accordingly and talk you through the options before we start. It is always worth mentioning irreplaceable photos and documents up front rather than assuming.

We will tell you honestly rather than sell you a repair that does not make sense. If replacing is the better option, we can advise on what would actually suit you, set the new machine up, and recycle the old one responsibly through our WEEE scheme.
